  Compassionate Friends

The Compassionate Friends is a self-help organization which offers friendship and understanding to parents who have experienced the loss of a child.  Parents are welcome to attend meetings as often or as seldom as they wish.  The purpose of Compassionate Friends is to listen and aid parents in the positive resolution of their grief.  The butterfly, our symbol, represents a new life for our lost children and a different life for us.  It is a sign of hope, rebirth, regeneration and beauty.  Grandparents, and close friends are also welcome to attend.
